We strive to have a quality, Christian camping program that is affordable to all. Simonhouse Bible Camp is still one of the least expensive camps in Manitoba (particularly an Accredited one) and it is because of our generous donors that we are able to keep our fees so low. However, we know that for a family, to send multiple children to camp can still be a lot of money. Please note the following things that may help:
All fees are listed in CDN dollars and include GST.
We require your registration to include a deposit of at least $50 ($15 for Mini-Mee). If paying by cheque,please include a second post-dated cheque, dated no later than two (2) weeks prior to the first day of your camp session start date, with the balance of the fee.
We must have full payment at least two weeks prior to the start of the camp session.
After you register, you will be emailed a confirmation email which will include a copy of your Statement of Account, and our Camper Acceptance Info & Checklist. If you did not register with an email address noted, the information will be mailed to you. Please check your spam folder if you cannot find this information and ensure that email@example.com and firstname.lastname@example.org are added to your safe lists.
Registration is based on a first come, first serve basis. We do fill camps up so if you are registering close to the start of camp, please contact us after you send to confirm your registration was received and a spot was available prior to bringing your child to camp on registration day. We cannot hold spots. To register a child we require the completed Registration Form or Online Registration as well as the appropriate deposit/fee. Without those two pieces, a registration is not complete. If applying through the Sunshine Fund, we will hold a spot awaiting confirmation from the Sunshine Fund, up until two weeks prior to the start of camp only. It is best if the Registration Form, and the associated payment, are sent together at the same time.
If cancellation is made two (2) weeks or more prior to the camp session, the fee, less the deposit will be refunded. If less than two (2) weeks prior to the camp session, there is NO refund except for medical emergencies. In cases of medical emergencies, a note from the attending doctor will be required indicating the reason(s) why the camper must not attend the camp session for the health and safety of themselves or others. There is no refund for campers who withdraw from camp for any reason during the camp session, or who are sent home for disciplinary or medical reasons. Deposits and fees are non-transferable.
Dishonored cheques and/or credit card chargebacks will be subject to a $15 fee.
Currently you are responsible to provide transportation to and from the camp. We recognize that for many transportation may be an issue and I would encourage you to contact the office. We can often help facilitate car pooling and are looking into other solutions to help make it easier to transport you child to and from camp.
Registration is at 4:00 pm on the first day of camp. Please do not arrive much earlier than that as the staff are busy preparing and we are unable to watch your kids before they register at 4:00 pm. If there are special circumstance, please contact us.
Pick Up starts with our Closing Program at 6:00 pm on the last day of camp. Please come and see the short program that your kids put on and afterwards join us for our famous chili dinner outside.
Registration is at 7:00 pm on the Friday.
Pick up is at 2:00 pm on the Sunday.
